On May 24, 2025, in the role of Companion and Sponsor, DHT Law Firm is proud to contribute to the success of the HUTECH LEC - Legal English Competition 2025 organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH University). The competition is not only a bridge connecting the university, students, and the legal community, but also an opportunity for DHT to demonstrate its long-term commitment to nurturing and developing the next generation of lawyers. On behalf of our organization, Ms. Bui Thi Hong Ngoc, LLM, and Ms. Dang Thi Le Vi, LLM, extend our best wishes to the university and express our sincere gratitude to the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). We especially want to convey our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thai Ha, LLM – Head of the Department of International Commercial Law, Dr. Phan Minh Phung – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law at HUTECH, and the entire Organizing Committee for the success of the HUTECH LEC - Legal English Competition 2025. Dai Ha Thanh Law Firm LLC was founded by Managing/Senior Lawyer Bui Ngoc Nhuan, who has over 30 years of legal practice in Vietnam and has held many important positions within the country's legal administrative system. The HUTECH LEC - Legal English Competition 2025 is a national-level academic playground. It is not only a platform for students to systematically develop their legal English proficiency, but also an open academic forum where young participants can exchange experiences, network, and showcase their capabilities to legal experts, employers, and the academic community. Notably, the semi-final round of the competition featured the participation of nine teams from prestigious universities, including: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, University of Finance and Marketing, Van Lang University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, and Hue University of Law.

As part of the HUTECH LEC - Legal English Competition 2025, DHT Law Firm marked a significant milestone in strengthening the connection between the legal industry and academic institutions through its partnership with the Faculty of Law at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). By participating in the competition as a Companion and Sponsor, DHT not only demonstrated its deep commitment to specialized academic activities, but also affirmed its strategic vision in developing a high-quality legal workforce capable of integrating into the global landscape.

At the semi-final and final rounds of the “HUTECH LEC - Legal English Competition 2025”, Mrs. Bui Thi Hong Ngoc - Master of Laws, Attorney-at-Law, and Deputy Director of DHT Law Firm - participated as a professional judge, directly observing, evaluating, and providing feedback on the contestants’ performances. Through this competition, DHT Law Firm not only offered practical insights from a professional legal practice environment, but also created opportunities for students to become familiar with the standards and competencies required in the legal profession in the context of globalization. In addition to her role in the judging panel, DHT Law Firm also placed strong emphasis on identifying and nurturing promising contestants – outstanding candidates for future internship programs, professional training, and career opportunities at the firm.

Speaking at the event, Lawyer Bui Thi Hong Ngoc highly praised the professional quality and progressive spirit of the competing teams: "I am truly impressed by the students' command of legal English and their reasoning skills. The contestants not only demonstrated a solid understanding of legal knowledge but also showcased their ability to present, analyze cases, and apply legal concepts in English in a coherent and confident manner. These are essential competencies that any legal professional must possess in this era of global integration." Mrs. Ngoc also expressed her hope that academic platforms like the HUTECH LEC – Legal English Competition 2025 will continue to be maintained and further developed in the future, serving as an important bridge between universities and the labor market. She emphasized that such initiatives help students access a realistic, multidimensional, and internationally-aligned legal environment.
